Online Soil is following government guidelines closely and will remain open to fulfil orders. With the new season almost upon us, we look forward to supplying all of your soil & compost needs. Click here to see our products.

For collection orders, please contact us ahead of time to avoid disappointment. All customers must wear a face mask or face covering on our premises.

05/11/20

With the news that the country is in lockdown once again, Online Soil is still taking orders and delivering our soil and compost as normal.

We take the health of our employees and customers seriously and so we have taken the decision to close our store in Ormskirk. If you would like to collect an order in person, please contact the team in advance and ask about our click and collect service on 01695 422 144. Wearing masks or face coverings on our premises is mandatory.

Online Soil is still taking orders and delivering our soil and compost as normal.

Social distancing measure continue to be in operation across our business and those who can do so remain working from home.

Deliveries with our haulage partners are still contactless to reduce the possible exposure for everyone involved.

As per previous update, we remain well placed to fulfill all orders and offer next day delivery up to 2pm.

17/06/20

We are delighted to be able to welcome back our Scottish customers. Delivery is now available nationwide with the exception of a few difficult to reach islands.

Business is now very close to normal for us, as earlier in the crisis we remain well placed to fulfill all our customers’ orders. On the busiest days, we may move our cutoff for next day delivery back from 2pm to earlier in the day, but thanks to increased capacity, this is a rare exception.

As the situation continues to develop, this page will continue to be updated.

Business continues for us and we remain well placed to fulfill each order that is placed. We have increased our capacity and next day delivery, up until the 2pm cutoff, is now regularly available to be selected in the checkout process.


Our haulage partners are unfortunately still unable to deliver to Scottish postcodes at this time. When this situation changes, our site will be updated immediately.

14/04/20

We are continuing to assess the ongoing situation as it changes each day. As it stands, we are well placed to continue taking new orders and deliver those already in our system.

Due to some limiting factors, although all turf is still dispatched on a next day delivery service to maintain its condition, you may not always be able to pick the next day working day for delivery when checking out on our site.

We hope you and your loved ones are keeping well during these difficult times.

01/04/20

Due to the changing circumstances, new orders for Scottish postcodes can sadly no longer be taken. Upon entering the Scottish postcode on our site, you will now unfortunately get the notification that we do not deliver to that postcode.

This is only a short-term measure due to the Scottish delivery hub we utilise, closing temporarily because of the ongoing pandemic. Once they have reopened and as a Country we begin to get through this crisis, we look forward to again supplying our goods to Scotland.

Postcodes we cannot take new orders for:

HS, IV, KW, ZE, PH, AB, DD, PA, FK, KY, G, KA, ML, EH, DG, TD, CA. If you have already placed your order to the postcodes above then we will still be delivering your items on your chosen delivery day.

Following on from our previous update, we still remain open to new orders and are fulfilling existing ones. Our team and haulage partners are working incredibly hard to ensure we can continue to remain open.

We are still experiencing a lot of calls asking if we are still open. Please check this blog for updates instead and only get in touch via phone if urgent.

We will continue to assess Government advice each day and will update this page should anything change.

The ongoing situation is being looked at each day as it develops. We remain open to new orders currently and all our haulage partners are making deliveries as normal.

Our customer service team is currently inundated with information requests. Please avoid calling our offices unless absolutely necessary as you’ll experience long wait times which can be avoided by keeping keep up-to-date with any changes to our services on this page.

Throughout the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, we have continually followed the latest Government advice and the steps they have taken.

Following the measures the Government has now brought in, closing high street shops and further limiting public gathering, they are encouraging online businesses to continue trading to ensure people who are staying home can still get the things they require.

As a result, we will continue to be taking orders and delivering these across the country. As previously detailed, our haulage partners are now conducting 'no-contact' deliveries and you will not be required to sign any paperwork.

Customers are, however, no longer permitted to visit our location and collect any products. If you require any of our products, please place your order online for delivery.
